Join us for a meditation and dharma talk, to be presented tonight by Jampa Jaffe at the Don Bank Museum. Jampa will presenting the first of a two part talk titled The Practices of Love and Fear.
Our practices are the ways that we routinely orient ourselves towards what we want to do and be in our life. The problem is that what we want is often not clear to us or not clearly recognised by the practices we undertake to get what we want. In this two-part talk, we’ll explore two of life’s most fundamental practices — love and fear — and what they orient us towards.
The Bluegum Sangha's dharma talk series provides a secular environment to hear Buddhist teachings. At their core, these teachings aim to help guide our lives towards liberation from dukkha (unsatisfactoriness).
